How we list

Where the facts come from, what we check, and how each list is put in order.

Where the facts come from

Every listing is read from the firm's own website. Each profile says which site it came from and the date it was read. We do not call, survey or score anyone, and we show no reviews or star ratings.

What we check

A machine check looks for a law practice and an office in a US city on the firm's own website. Some listings then get a second check by a reviewer, who compares the record with the website again. Those carry a small mark, "Second check passed", and a date on the profile.

What we leave out

We do not show email addresses, personal phone numbers, social media pages, licence numbers of individual lawyers, or prize claims.

How lists are ordered

Firms whose listing passed a second check come first. Then the firms with the most facts on their own site: services, named lawyers, hours, languages, booking, free consultation and year founded. Then A to Z. Nobody pays to be listed or to move.

Fix or remove a listing

If a listing is wrong, or you do not want it here, see fix or remove a listing.

Attorney listings are information from each firm's own website. Not legal advice, not a lawyer referral service. No one pays to be listed or ordered.
